21-24 July 2022 Jodrell Bank Observatory

We’re looking for energetic, enthusiastic and approachable individuals to join us at bluedot for a weekend of wonder and discovery. Gain experience with SEED Staff in stewarding and wristbanding, or be part of the merchandise team selling bluedot merch or work with our creative team with our spectacular, inspiring, immersive arts and performance.

SEED STAFF:
You can apply to volunteer with SEED staff if you want to gain experience in stewarding and wristbanding HERE

ARTS VOLUNTEERS:
You would need to be available from Thursday 19th July – Monday 23rd July and would be required to complete one shift per show day. Shift times will be agreed before the festival begins, but don’t worry – there will still be plenty of time around shifts to enjoy all the delights of the festival.

The roles are largely based within The Outer Space area of the festival. Successful applicants will be fully briefed to be able to give information on the different artwork and installations that can be discovered in The Outer Space. Applicants should be comfortable talking to festival-goers and be willing to undertake a variety of tasks, including manning of the arts installations and stewarding walk-about performances across the festival site.

This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to develop and diversify their festival resume or to begin a career working in the arts and creative strands of prominent UK festivals. If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please email your CV over to Hayley at artsassistant@fromthefields.co.uk by Monday 4th June 2018.

Best of luck and we look forward to seeing you at our intergalactic festival of music, science, arts, culture and the exploration of space.
