Our partnership with Bruntwood includes a series of unique and exclusive Microdot mini-festivals which started last weekend in Manchester city centre and will continue on to Liverpool and Cheshire.
The Microdot event series kicked off with Microdot 001 at the newly-expanded Hatch, which is now the city’s biggest creative village of food, drink, retail, entertainment, social and event space and workspace, and itself a Bruntwood project which forms part of the Circle Square neighbourhood along Manchester's Oxford Road corridor.
For future Microdots keep an eye on the bluedot and Bruntwood social media feeds throughout the year.
Saturday 15 June saw us present Microdot 001, a free-entry day of music, science and cosmic culture and our official warm-up to this year's Bluedot in July.
The event featured music from David Attenborough's Jungle Boogie, Beat A Maxx, DJ Paulette and more, family encounters with Space Rebel Princess and Pride Storm Trooper, and special Dot Talks curated by Jodrell Bank Observatory.
