Durham University Electric Motorsport (DUEM) is Britain’s leading solar car team. Founded in 2002, this student run and led project designs, builds and races solar powered vehicles. The team raced 3000km across Australia in the World Solar Challenge last Autumn. In addition, the team have an extensive outreach programme inspiring the next generation of students and also attend major events around the globe, including the UN Climate Summit and Goodwood Festival of Speed.
