Surprising Science
Can you discover the sneaky scientific secrets behind the surprising illusions? The show will challenge you to think creatively like both a scientist and a magician. Along the way you’ll learn a host of tricks and stunts to amaze friends & family. Presented by Dr Matt Pritchard, an Associate of the Inner Magic Circle and lapsed atomic physicist.
Space, time and other illusions
Join Dr Matt Pritchard (The Science Magician) as he warps reality, turns back the hands of time and teleports objects across site. The interactive show is packed with more strange science ideas than you can fit inside a TARDIS.
Superhero Science
Are superpowers fact, fiction or feasible in the future? Explore invisibility, superstrength, body armour, levitation, mind control and find out what they do (or don’t) have to do with real science. And for those superpowers which are scientifically impossible? That’s where the magic comes in! The show has a strong emphasis on smart materials and technology inspired by biology (e.g. spider webs and camouflage.)
