Lisa Harvey-Smith

Professor Lisa Harvey-Smith is an astrophysicist and black hole wrangler based in Hobart, Australia. She did her PhD at Jodrell Bank observatory and her research interests include the birth and death of stars and the growth of supermassive black holes. Lisa is a presenter on the Australian version of Stargazing Live with Brian Cox. In her spare time, she runs ultra marathons including 24 hour and multi-day races. Lisa’s first book – “When Galaxies Collide” – is available on Amazon.co.uk.
