Making Sense of Changing Seas
The National Oceanography Centre is the United Kingdom’s centre of excellence for oceanographic sciences. The work that it undertakes aims to ‘make sense of changing seas’ by addressing the biggest challenges facing both the ocean and the global population who are increasingly relying on it for vital resources.
Visit us to see how the ocean affects our climate, what happens where the ocean meets people and property at the coast, how seafloor resources and habitats are being protected and exploited, and about the technology we’re developing to help enable our research over longer periods of time and in more and more hostile environments.
