Marc Riley
Marc Riley is an English radio DJ, alternative rock critic and musician, and has been involved in the music industry for over 30 years. He currently presents on BBC Radio 6 Music (Mon-Thurs, 7pm-9pm). The show has helped to break numerous acts including Metronomy, Ezra Furman, Everything Everything and Wild Beasts to a wider audience, and is Sony Radio Academy Award nominated.
Earlier in his career, Marc was a member of the Fall, had his own record label, In-Tape, and also worked as a record plugger for bands such as Massive Attack, the Pixies, the Cocteau Twins and the Happy Mondays. Marc has also worked in radio since about 1990 across BBC Radio 5, BBC Radio 1, and at his current home of 6 Music since 2004.
