Maggie is the founder of Science Innovation Ltd; through this company, she conducts public engagement activities around the world. To date, she has reached over 350,000 school children around the world, engaging them with the incredible wonders of space. She is co-presenter of the BBC Sky at Night television program and works on other programs to including “Ducks Quacks Don’t Echo.”

Maggie studied at Imperial College, where she obtained a degree in Physics and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering. She has spent much of her career making novel, bespoke instrumentation in industrial and academic environments. She has worked on projects to understand better climate change, including the recently launched ESA Aeolus satellite, which measures wind speed in the Earth’s atmosphere with the aim of better weather and climate change predictions.
