Rebecca Hurst
Rebecca Hurst has a PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Manchester. She writes poetry, short fiction, and libretti, and her work has appeared in various magazines including: Agenda, Aesthetica, The Clearing, and Magma Poetry. Her opera, After the Fall, written with composer Helgi Rafn Ingvarsson, premiered in May 2017. Forthcoming work includes an opera based on the folk-hero Robin Hood, with the London-based company Opera Story. She is a member of the Voicings Collective; an Art Council England funded ensemble that creates exploratory new music theatre.
