Robert Mulvaney
Dr Robert Mulvaney is a glaciologist and Science Leader of the Ice Dynamics and Palaeoclimate team at British Antarctic Survey. He has been responsible for many years for the BAS ice core analytical programme and the development of the continuous flow analysis system for rapid analysis of ice cores. He has many seasons experience in the field in Antarctica, Greenland and the Arctic, either taking part in multinational ice drilling projects or leading the UK ice drilling projects. He is currently working with a number of European partners on a project Beyond EPICA to drill for the oldest ice on Earth in Antarctica to better understand some changes in the past climate.
