Josh Hayes (@mosphericHayes) is a PhD student at the University of Manchester where he studies exoplanetary atmospheres. By working out what these distant worlds are made of, we will be able to better understand our own origins, and our place within the universe. Josh will be giving an overview of how we find and study planets, before giving you the opportunity to ask as many questions as you want!

Josh is also an experienced science communicator, working as a presenter/producer on the Jodcast, writing articles for science magazines and the founder of a network of Manchester-based physicists who are encouraging the next generation of scientists!
