Yang are a genre-fluid electronic duo based in Manchester.

Formed on Halloween 2017, Oliver Duffy and Davey Moore aim to carve their own space in electronic music, to leave their mark in their own unique way and to change what a “Manchester band” sounds like.

They’re bringing a live show filled with pulsating kick drums, dreamy synth soundscapes and dark, distorted rumbles with elements of music concretè alongside specially curated visuals and set design by their fellow student art directors and collaborators.

Having played at such esteemed venues such as Yes and Band On The Wall, Bluedot is set to be their biggest venture yet, and their set being on the day of Oliver’s 20th birthday already cements it as a milestone in Yang’s short yet exciting tenure.
