In December 2015, policymakers from around the world agreed to an ambitious goal of limiting climate change to well below two degrees warming; delivering on this ambition requires that mitigation activities gain new momentum. This collaboration between the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change and the Manchester Museum’s “Climate Control” exhibition presents a series of films, artworks and activities exploring the shape and nature of a sustainable, low carbon society and asks how the arts and culture can inspire us to act positively to mitigate climate change?
