With Easter on the horizon, we know many of you are busy making plans for the family holidays that are right round the corner.

bluedot’s line-up of family fun has all the wonders of the universe at one of the UK’s most family friendly festivals! From all-star headliners like Tim Peake and Clangers to hands-on science, kids cinema screenings and much more, there’s a mountain of fun to pack into the weekend – for the young and young-at-heart. This year we’ve packaged our family programme into the new Space Camp experience, so you can pack out each day with a mountain of exciting kids fun – dance and party, explore the wonder of the cosmos and have a giggle!

Clangers

Where better to start than everybody’s favourite family of adventurous and inquisitive space characters. Those of you who joined us in 2019 will have enjoyed a very special 50th Anniversary celebration of these amazing creatures, with a special ’50 years of’ panel talk, plus an exclusive screening and even a DJ set from the fluffy family, with Big Fish Little Fish and the wonderful Maggie Aderin-Pocock.

HENGERCISE

Join intergalactic favourites Henge for a session of cosmic cardio as they take you through the steps of some of your favourite cosmic songs. The bluedot favourites bring a blast of alien aerobics sure to get your blood pumping and fire you up for the day as we help you to tone your tentacles though the medium of DANCE!

ACTUAL REALITY ARCADE

Welcome to The Actual Reality Arcade, a life sized interactive game zone for all ages inspired by 10 arcade games where YOU bring the games to life. This amazing interactive experience takes the legendary classics of our childhoods and turns them into huge immersive games where you’re in the middle of the action!

BRAINIAC LIVE

A special live science show based on the popular TV show, join the fearless Brainiacs as they take you on a breathless ride through the wild world of the weird and wonderful. Watch from the safety of your seat as the Brainiacs delve fearlessly into the mysteries of science – are you brave enough to sit through this hour of mischief and science calamity?

JEDI LIGHTSABER TRAINinG

Calling all Jedis! Lightsaber Training returns to the vast realms of the bluedot cosmos. Tackle the universe with your newly acquired lightsaber tactics & become a Jedi pro by learning a small routine from the films in these special workshops. For the first time ever, bluedot launches a special Fancy Dress Saturday! We know so many of you don amazing costumers during your time at bluedot, including some special and adventurous sorts who even make their own… so this time we’re going all out and celebrating the joys of silliness with a whole day dedicated to Fancy Dress. Whether you’re turning the little ones into mini astronauts, or the parents are going full Luke and Leia, this is your time to shine!
