Justin Bray – Scientist Q&A
My name’s Justin Bray, and I’m an astronomer at Jodrell Bank Observatory. I did my early work in Australia, using the Parkes radio telescope to search for fast radio pulses caused by high-energy particles hitting the moon. (Spoiler: I didn’t see any.) After that I moved to Southampton, and then to Manchester, doing research into a range of techniques for radio astronomy.
In the Space Shed, I’ll be talking a bit about the history of Jodrell Bank, and how it led into our current work studying cosmic rays.
Join Justin for his Q&A at 4pm.
