Physics in the Field
Each year a team from the Institute of Physics Manchester head out into the fields to perform physics tricks – hand-held demos using things you can find at home – and making sure you get a go too. Some of the tricks are messy, some are noisy, but all of them are guaranteed crowd pleasers that help to illustrate different areas of physics. We will have Tame Tornadoes to get you in a spin, Bernoulli Balls which are more than hot air and Balloon Kebabs which are sure to always go with a bang! Come join us to gain a glimpse into what physics is really all about and to be inspired to discover more about what makes the Universe around us tick.
