Sounding the Siren: HCRI and the Climate Crisis

The Humanitarian and Conflict Response Institute presents our unique research on the climate crisis in the form of an exhibited graphic novella called ‘Sounding the Siren: Amrita’s Story’. Published in 2020, in partnership with UK-Med and HCRI academic Dr Stephanie Sodero, it was exhibited to great acclaim in late 2021 at the University of Manchester.

There is also an opportunity to discover the future leaders of the world through our winning Words For Your World competition entries, which asked 13 – 18 year olds across the country to write to the UN about their perspective on the climate crisis. This will be presented alongside the chance to test your climate knowledge through our interactive quiz, as well as child friendly activities.
